I’m not much for posting pics of my family spending the holidays. Outside of myself and their grandparents, I figure no one really thinks that seeing my kids in their PJ’s with bed head opening their gifts is really that cute…Still, I wanted to post these of our boys with their newest set of wheels. It’s fun to see the boys at their various ages and stages.
Almost 4, Noah got an Iron Man razor scooter. It has one wheel on the front and one wheel on the back, and he’s learned how to zip around on it quickly and with few falls. In the past, our boys have transitioned smoothly from these scooters to bicycles as their sense of balance and control has developed. We think Noah will be ready for a small bike with training wheels very soon.
Nate, almost 6, was ready for a larger bicycle. He got rid of his training wheels during the summer and has become quite comfortable on two wheels. We got him a larger bike with hand breaks and gears so that he and Elijah can ride more together.
Elijah is a biking pro. He bikes everywhere and has had very few injuries. We gifted him with a pogo stick and a set of stilts this year. He learned the pogo stick in about half an hour on Christmas Day, and we are currently working on walking through our living room on stilts. Stay tuned for pics of the stilts…
