Several of you have written to ask for the chocolate cake recipe I used for Noah’s birthday. It’s SO good! When you live in a place with no Betty Crocker, making desserts from scratch is the norm. I loved the flavor and texture of this cake, and it only used a small amount of butter, which is expensive and hard-to-come by for us. The addition of the coffee sounded a bit strange to me, but I agree that it adds a depth of flavor that only enhances the chocolate instead of making it taste like coffee. Hope you give it a whirl!
